Hon. David G. Moore

Co-Founder & Visionary

The late Hon. David G. Moore served as a Representative of Grand Bassa County, Liberia. In 1972, he donated land and personally funded the construction of Newcess Public School, expanding educational opportunity in a region where access was scarce. He also helped establish a community clinic to provide basic healthcare services. His belief that every child deserves a quality education and every family deserves access to care remains the foundation of everything we do.

Felicia J. Moore

Co-Founder & Community Nurse

Felicia J. Moore was a dedicated nurse who devoted her life to serving the Newcess community. Alongside her husband, she championed access to basic healthcare and helped establish the community clinic that served families across Grand Bassa County. Her compassion, commitment to care, and belief in the dignity of every person continue to inspire the Foundation's work in health and community development.
